Learned Today
- it is actually possible for me to like a movie's plot better than its characters
- it is actually possible for a 2 1/2 hour movie to feel like it was not long enough
- sometimes too much of a good thing is a bad thing when it comes to altering recipes
- if you want to determine the cause of what happened back then, just look at what is happening right now
- liking or hating something is actually a grey area; things like time, place, situation, and state of mind can all be factors
- things will continue on as usual, whether I am there or not
- Alanis is a wise woman... okay, I guess I already knew that one before today :)

Watch
Do you ever watch yourself reacting in a retardedly emotional way to something, and fully realize that it's irrational, but yet are unable to stop reacting that way?
Frustrating.
Frustrating.

Memorybilia
So after making my "last step", I've started to go through the items in the boxes, to see if I actually still want to keep everything that's in there. It's an odd experience not remembering so many of the things I'm finding... for example, a detailed day-by-day journal of everything I did during my March Break of 1992... I have absolutely NO recollection of any of these activities, or of even writing the journal, for that matter. Generally in the past when I have gone through slightly less old things of mine (from high school, university, etc.) it seems like the items tend to bring back a flood of memories that do exist, but have just not been in my thoughts recently.
Anyway, I started wondering... without getting into whether or not it would actually be useful, if we did maintain a clear memory of every single experience we've ever had in our lives, would we bother to keep memorabilia?
